CNC Machine Operator / MachinistExpress Employment is looking for a CNC Machine Operator / Machinist. This is a long-term position.Location: Oroville, CAPay: $18 - $20/Hour DOEWork Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pmAt Express, we care about our Associates; that's why we offer a 401 (k) along with Health Care Insurance. (Associates must meet requirements as stated in the handbook)Job Description:Operate CNC equipment using established programs and procedures.Measure and cut raw metal material to the required length.Load, position, and secure material in the CNC machine.Perform basic machine setup and zeroing before running parts.Run CNC programs and monitor the machine during operation.Remove completed parts and repeat production processes consistently.Perform basic quality checks using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.Operate a machinist's lathe for basic and repetitive machining tasks.Operate band saws, grinders, drill presses, and other common shop equipment.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Identify and report equipment, tooling, or quality issues.All other duties assigned by the SupervisorRequirements:2-3 years of current experienceCNC machine operation experience preferredBasic machining and measuring tool knowledgeAbility to read basic work instructions/drawingsStrong attention to detailAbility to follow safety and production proceduresAbility to lift to 50 lbs
