Job description
CNC Machine OperatorAs a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in ensuring that the machines are set up correctly and that the finished products meet the required specifications. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the production process.SHIFT PREMIUM: 2nd $1.00 Additional, 3rd $2.00 AdditionalMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentExperience operating CNC machinesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with CAD/CAM softwareExperience with Fanuc or Siemens controlsExperience with precision measuring toolsExperience with Lean Manufacturing principlesResponsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cuttingRead and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure that machines are set up correctlyMonitor machines during the production process to ensure that they are running smoothly and that finished products meet the required specificationsTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production processMaintain a clean and safe work environmentSkills:As a CNC Machine Operator, you will use your technical skills to operate and maintain CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting. You will also use your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings to ensure that the machines are set up correctly and that the finished products meet the required specifications. Additionally, you will use your troubleshooting skills to resolve any issues that may arise during the production process.
