CNC Machine OperatorMadera Client is looking for a CNC Machine Operator! Position Description: The Machine Operator issues material per work orders, operate CNC mill, lathe save, drill press, and other hand tools. Essential Functions/Accountabilities:Operate CNC lathe, mill, saw, drill press, and all other hand tools.Perform to a given work schedule and production standards.Accurately transact all work orders and complete all required reports.Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work areaComply with all safety and health policies.Perform preventative maintenance as required.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Able to operate CNC equipmentAble to use inspection equipmentMRP/ERP work experience desired.Manual Mill & Lathe experience desiredProficient with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers. Etc.,).Able to read drawings.Work Environment:Exposure to loud noise, populated work areas, salt, dust, and other ingredients or odorsExposure to varying temperatures, depending on seasonExposure to long periods of sunlight depending on operationsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations. These demands may be required for up to 12 hours per day.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms; have a good sense of balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good eye-hand coordination, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Wearing Personal Protective Equipment: safety glasses and closed toe shoes.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $25.00
