Job description
CNC Machine OperatorSouth Elgin, Illinois, United StatesWe are hiring a CNC Machine Operator to run Swiss (Citizen) and/or Eurotech multi-axis lathes in a precision machining environment. This role focuses on safe operation, quality parts, and meeting production goals. Hours during training will be 7am-3pm. After training hours move to 11am-7pm.Responsibilities:Operate Swiss CNC (Citizen) and/or Eurotech CNC machinesLoad and unload material and finished partsMonitor machines during production runsPerform in-process inspections (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Verify parts meet print and tolerance requirementsIdentify tool wear, machine issues, or quality concernsComplete production paperwork and job trackingMaintain a clean and organized workstationFollow all safety and quality proceduresRequirements:3 years CNC machine operation experienceAbility to read blueprints and tolerancesExperience using precision measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and reliabilityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamNice to Have:Basic tool changes and insert replacementsMinor offset adjustmentsSwiss, Citizen, or Eurotech experienceJob-shop or precision machining backgroundAbility to stand for long periodsLift up to 50 lbsManual dexterity for small precision parts
