Job description
CNC Machine Programmer and OperatorCurtis Machine is looking to expand our team of qualified Trade Professionals.We are looking to hire a CNC Machine Programmer and Operator to create and refine CNC programs for precision machinery, using CAD software to translate 3D models into machine-readable code.Gleason and Phoenix training a bonus!Requirements:Blueprint reading, basic mathAbility to plan a machining and tooling sequence based on engineering documentationAble to keep team members well informed and to draw on other's expertise when requiredAbility to interpret engineering documentation and write appropriate machine-level instructions, including revisions to existing programsGood computer skills and ability to query, monitor, and input NC machine and system dataAbility to professionally communicate and work with othersAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple prioritiesWillingness to learn and receive training and, if required, train othersExperience with Mastercam 2017 or newer3/4/5 axis and horizontalExperience with Vericut verification softwareProven Mastercam experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering documentsParts ListDrawingEDRN/DNC/SSP/ZSP3D annotation setsMachining background preferredAbility to utilize required inspection equipmentCreative thinking skills requiredThese are first shift opportunities with a pay rate dependent on experience & skill level.What We Offer:Hiring immediately for a challenging opportunityThe chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentOngoing training and professional developmentOur work environment includes:IntegrityCommitment to customers and/or employeesHonest, direct, and open communicationQuality and reliability of product/serviceOpportunities for growth and self-improvementPassionPerformanceHumorCurtis Machine is an EOE!
