Job description
CNC MachinistEssential Functions:Produce parts and tools from metal or other materials using a Laser, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision cuts into material.Operators look at blueprints for the finished product, make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path of the cut, as well as make sure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.Make sure machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output.Look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production.Requirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentStrong Communication skillsSelf-MotivatorAttention to DetailAbility to analyze blueprints and knowledge of Manufacturing EquipmentAptitude for math, problem-solving and computer skillsPreferred:3+ years' experience using a Laser cutting machine.CNC Machinist (looking for a versatile employee Lathe and Mill experience preferred)Schedule/pay rate:Mon. – Fri. 6am – 2:30pm (Overtime as needed)Pay $19+ (depending on Experience)Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
