CNC Machinist Level 1 - 1st ShiftOur client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Level 1 CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Machining Department supporting production of high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a dependable work ethic, which will align successfully in this team-oriented environment.Job Title: CNC Machinist Level 1 (Temp-to-Hire) Location: West St. Louis County (centrally located) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Range: $24 – $28/hour depending on experience for 1st shiftWhat You'll Do• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and precision machining equipment following work instructions • Monitor machine feeds and speeds to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce quality components • Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers • Maintain clean and safe work environment following quality and safety standardsWhat We're Looking For• REQUIRED- 2+ years CNC machining experience OR completion of technical/trade school program • Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications • MUST have own basic machinist tools (calipers, micrometers, deburring tools, etc.) • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail • Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn and growWhat's in it for me?• Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential • Opportunity to work with modern, precision machining equipment • Overtime available based on workload (not mandatory) • Stable and growing manufacturing environment • Opportunity to expand machining skills and responsibilities
