CNC MachinistAre you a skilled machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality precision components? We are seeking a talented CNC Machinist to help manufacture complex precision parts, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies that support critical manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values quality, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a firsthand manufacturing environment where their expertise is effective every day.Location: Binghamton, NYWhat You'll DoAs a CNC Machinist, you will:Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce complex precision components.Interpret blueprints, setup documentation, and CNC program information to ensure accuracy and quality.Select, install, and adjust tooling and machine offsets for optimal performance.Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency and precision.Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, verniers, depth gauges, and scales.Perform secondary machining and finishing operations, including drilling and deburring.Collaborate with experienced machinists, supervisors, and team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while following all safety and quality standards.What We're Looking ForA minimum of two years of machining experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and firsthand experience.The ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, setup sheets, and CNC program documentation.Knowledge of machining practices, manufacturing principles, and shop mathematics.Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and CNC machining terminology.Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work.The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Why Join Us?Work with precision manufacturing equipment and challenging projects.Be part of a team that values craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement.Physical & Work EnvironmentThis role is performed in a manufacturing machine shop environment and requires standing for extended periods, handling materials and tooling, and working around machining equipment. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are expected to follow established safety procedures and use required PPE.Compensation Information:This position has a starting hourly rate of $24.40 to $28.75 per hour.
