CNC Machinist – 2nd & 3rd ShiftLocation: West Hartford, CT Pay Rate: $32.78 per hour – with.80 cents Shift Differential Shifts Available: 3rd Shift Job Type: Temp to PermJob Description: We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists for 3rd shift opportunities at our facility in West Hartford, CT. This is a temp-to-perm position with competitive pay and long-term potential.As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC machines including Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and Swiss Machines (STAR, Tsugami, Citizen). You will work from detailed blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure the precision and quality of machined components.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and Swiss MachinesRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbolsUse precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensionsMonitor machine operations to identify and resolve malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machiningInspect finished parts to ensure quality and adherence to specificationsPerform routine maintenance on equipment and machineryWork collaboratively with team members to optimize production processesAdhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environmentRequirements:Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC MachinistStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience operating STAR, Tsugami, and Citizen Swiss MachinesFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles (preferred)Skilled in running multiple machines simultaneouslyAbility to operate power tools and related machining equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanshipWhy Join Us?Competitive hourly wage ($30–$31/hr)Opportunities for long-term employment and career growthModern, safety-focused work environmentWork with state-of-the-art CNC equipmentApply today to join a growing team in a high-precision, high-demand manufacturing environment!
