Position Summary
Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in Lincoln, RI seeking a skilled CNC Machinist on 1
st
shift. This individual will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components used in waterworks, wastewater, and infrastructure-related applications. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
Modify machine offsets and make minor program edits as required.
Maintain production records and quality documentation.
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training or machining certification preferred.
3+ years of CNC machining experience.
Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T.
Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Experience with Mastercam, G-code programming, or CAD/CAM software is a plus.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
