Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support machining operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for light CNC programming, troubleshooting, tooling, setups, and process improvements to ensure quality parts are produced efficiently.
Responsibilities
Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs.
Support CNC machine setups and production issues.
Troubleshoot machining problems and parts that are out of tolerance.
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet specifications.
Select and troubleshoot tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and other machining parameters as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, tooling life, quality, and overall machining efficiency.
Support new product launches and new CNC setups.
Work with Engineering and Maintenance to resolve equipment and machining issues.
Train operators and team members on CNC setups and basic troubleshooting.
Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
Previous CNC programming experience required.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and setups.
Experience making CNC program modifications.
Experience machining and maintaining tight tolerances.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with fixtures and workholding.
Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience is a plus.
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade-school education preferred.
