CNC Machine OperatorA CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining computer-controlled machinery to produce precise parts and components according to specifications.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollecting data from blueprints, plans, work orders and other source materialSetting up the CNC equipment with the correct attachments and parts to perform the jobOperating and monitoring the machinesTroubleshooting issues with the machine programmingFollowing safety procedures and regulationsCollaborating with engineers, project managers and other team membersInspecting and maintaining the equipmentSkill and QualificationsStrong analytical, mathematical and computer skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsExperience with specific CNC machinesAttention to detail and accuracyProblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of safety regulationsAbility to set up large, heavy machineryComfort with interpreting blueprints, schematics and other technical documentsEducationHigh School Diploma
