Job description

CNC Machinist OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with hands-on Swiss machining and Vertical Lathe experience to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in CNC setup, operation, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and precision measurement, with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for a stable, long-term career with a company that values craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss machines and Vertical LathesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&TInspect finished parts using precision measuring equipmentMake machine offsets and adjustments to maintain part qualityPerform tool changes and basic tooling adjustmentsMonitor machining processes and troubleshoot issues as they ariseMaintain tight tolerances and consistent production qualityPerform in-process and final inspectionsFollow established safety, quality, and production proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teamsQualifications5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.Strong experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or similar precision machining equipment.Strong knowledge of cutting tools, tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.Proficiency using precision measuring and inspection equipment.Ability to make machine offsets and program adjustments.CNC programming experience is highly preferred.Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar CNC controls is a plus.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
