Job description
Machinist Opportunity in Gulfport, MSHire Up Staffing is seeking a skilled Machinist to join a team focused on precision, custom manufacturing. This is a job shop environment, not high-volume production, so the ideal candidate must be able to set up machines, make adjustments, and produce quality parts independently.Responsibilities:Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines (mills, lathes)Machine parts from blueprints and specificationsInspect parts using measuring tools to ensure accuracyAdjust setups and troubleshoot as neededDeburr, finish, and prepare parts for productionMaintain a clean and safe work environmentQualifications:Experience with manual and/or CNC machiningAbility to read and interpret blueprintsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience in a job shop or custom environment preferred
