Inspect machined components using blueprint specifications and record inspection data accurately.

Perform routine machine maintenance and basic Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to support equipment reliability.

Work with a variety of materials, including stainless steel, nitinol, nickel alloys, and other exotic metals.

Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including root-cause analysis and process optimization efforts.

What You Bring

3-5+ years of CNC machining experience, including machine setup and operation.

Experience setting up CNC equipment based on setup sheets, layouts, or technical documentation.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and inspect components to print specifications.

Experience editing CNC programs and making process adjustments as needed.

Strong problem-solving skills related to CNC machining and equipment operation.

Medium to advanced computer skills and experience with production documentation.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice to Have

Experience machining medical device components.

Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO 13485, or ISO 9001 manufacturing requirements.

Experience working with nitinol, stainless steel, nickel alloys, or other exotic metals.

Prior experience supporting Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.

What Will Make You Successful

A strong commitment to producing high-quality work with precision and consistency.

The ability to make sound decisions regarding machining processes, tooling, and production requirements.

Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to solving manufacturing challenges.

A willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and machining techniques.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate production and quality records.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, management, and production teams.

A commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Why KARL STORZ?

Join KARL STORZ and be part of a team creating medical innovations that truly make a difference. Beyond technology, you'll be part of a culture that values talent as its greatest asset, empowering you to contribute to a mission that improves patient care worldwide.
