CNC Machinist IIJob Description Location and Compensation • Buffalo, NY • Edwards Genesee location address: 6685 Crosby Rd Basom, NY 14013 • Salary Range: $28.85 - $47.60 Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.Your role as a CNC Machinist II are expected to operate a variety of CNC machines independently, troubleshoot common issues, and contribute to process improvements. This role requires sound judgment, intermediate technical skills, and active engagement in problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Independently operate HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines with minimal supervision.Consistently follow all safety, quality, and SOP requirements.Identify and report process inefficiencies or equipment issues.Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization (6S) in assigned work areas.Provide feedback to engineers and team leads on recurring issues and potential improvements.Assist in mentoring and training Tier 1 machinists.Accurately interpret blueprints, perform in-process inspections, and make basic offsets or adjustments.To succeed, you will need the ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to safety or health of employees or others.
