Machinist IIOur client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machinist II to join their team. As a Machinist II, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Machinist IILocation: Fremont, CAPay Range: $35Shift: 2pm-10:30pmWhat's the Job?Perform machining and CNC operations according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans in the cell.Communicate daily with team members and other facilities to ensure smooth production flow.Support production by setting up and operating machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.Run production jobs, including 'Single Flow' Cell Production, efficiently and accurately.Develop fixtures and tooling for rapid prototypes and proof of concept parts, ensuring quick turnaround times.What's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience in programming CNC lathes and mills, with familiarity in Mastercam a plus.Ability to read and interpret engineering designs and specifications.Working knowledge of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends, to meet production demands.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives like Lean manufacturing and 5S.Gain valuable hands-on experience with CNC machining and tooling development.Be part of a team committed to safety, quality, and innovation.Competitive pay rate and potential for growth within the organization.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
