CNC MachinistWe are currently seeking reliable and experienced CNC Machinists in the Jackson, MI area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong CNC machining experience. These positions are available on 2nd and 3rd shift and paying $20-$24/hr based on experience.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!CNC Machinist Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.00 to $ 24.00 / hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts available (Monday through Friday)2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm3rd shift 11:00pm-7:00amAll positions will train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks working 7am-3pm.$20/hr for 1-2 years of experience.$24/hr for 5+years' experience.Set up and operate CNC mills/lathes.Load programs, set tooling, and adjust offsets.Read and follow prints, control plans, and setup sheets.Perform in process inspections and maintain part quality.Troubleshoot machining issues and replace worn tools.Deburr, clean, tag, and document finished parts.Maintain a clean work area and follow safety procedures.Complete production and quality logs.Communicate effectively with the next shift.CNC Machinist Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.9–12 months CNC machinist experience required.Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.Good communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Lift up to 10 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally.Work near moving machinery, loud noise, and shop elements (oil, dust, fumes).Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
