Job description
CNC Machinist Opportunity Available1st shift - 7am-3:30pm Pay range - $25-35 per hour DOE Location - CincinnatiJob Duties - Performs complex CNC machine setupsAbility to read, write, and modify programs for the CNC Lathe machinesMachine production components to critical blueprint tolerancesMachine piston rods on CNC Lathe & Machine various parts on CNC milling machineMachine production parts on manual lathe and milling machines as requiredSet up CNC machines to produce production parts to drawing specificationsPerform first piece inspection to drawing specificationsChanges tool offsets to maintain dimensions per production drawingsReads inspection equipment in both inch and metric increments (caliper, micrometer, depth gage, Last word indicator, pitch micrometer, etc)Verifies conformance of all components to specifications.Uses various types of roller burnishing machines to finish piston rods. & Washes rods in cleaning solution to prepare for assembly.Required Experience - Experience in manufacturing/warehouse/machine shop environment or equivalent combination of education/experienceBasic computer skillsExperience with SAP or similar system is a plusKnowledge of hand tools and the Metric systemKnowledge of basic machine practices and safety standardsKnowledge of measuring equipment and machine toolsMust be able to set up and edit a variety of CNC machines.
