Job description
CNC MachinistLegacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Marion, OH. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed) Pay: $20+ per hour (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities:· Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce precision parts.· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.· Perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.· Monitor machining processes and make necessary offsets or corrections.· Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards are met.· Load and unload raw materials and finished components, maintaining accurate inventory tracking.· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.· Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.· Accurately document production processes and report any discrepancies or issues.· Promptly report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent; prior CNC machining experience required.· Lathe and mill experience preferred; versatility across multiple machines is highly desired.· Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances.· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.· Flexibility to work overtime as needed.What We Offer:· Competitive hourly wage.· Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.· Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.· A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.· The chance to contribute to a company that values precision, innovation, and craftsmanship.At Legacy Talent Search, we are more than just a staffing agency.
