Job Description Job Description We are seeking a CNC Machinist to perform CNC vertical mill and lathe operations in a machining center. This role produces prototype components and short-run production parts in an independent, machinist-led cell, using Mastercam or other CAM software and offering a four-day, 10-hour work schedule.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and tend CNC machining equipment.
Perform CNC milling and turning operations.
Program machines from customer drawings using Mastercam or CAM software.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Select appropriate tooling to complete parts.
Inspect parts using precision measurement and inspection equipment.
Maintain clean equipment, tools, and work areas.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of CNC machining experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with CNC milling and turning.
G-code programming experience.
Blueprint reading proficiency.
Knowledge of cutting tool selection.
Experience with precision measurement.
Strong attention to detail.
