CNC Machinist / ProgrammerShift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM Hours: Approximately 56 hours/week Pay: Up to $33.00/hour, depending on experience Potential Temp-to-Hire: After 90 daysPosition OverviewWe are hiring a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision-machined components and industrial equipment parts. The role involves CNC programming, machine setup, operation, inspection, and maintaining tight dimensional tolerances in a heavy industrial setting.ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills.Read and interpret shop machining drawings and technical documentation.Create CNC programs using G-code.Work with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain controls. Experience with every control is not required.Machine parts to tight tolerances, including measurements as close as 0.0005".Inspect completed work using precision tools such as: Calipers, Micrometers, Dial bore gaugesMaintain consistent part quality and dimensional accuracy.Follow safe operating practices in a heavy industrial environment.Maintain reliable attendance and a professional approach to work.Lift materials or components weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.Work the scheduled hours, including Saturdays when required.QualificationsPrevious experience with CNC programming and machine operation.Ability to understand and work from technical and machining drawings.Strong precision measurement and attention-to-detail skills.Ability to maintain tight machining tolerances.Familiarity with G-code and CNC controls.Commitment to workplace safety and quality.Ability to work independently while following production requirements.
