The company specializes in manufacturing and refurbishing precision components for oil and gas operations, delivering high-quality workmanship.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!CNC Machinist & Programmer Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 30.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)Blueprint reading for manufacturing prints and finish requirementsProgram machines using G-Code, conversational programming, or CAM softwareSetup and use MRP Gauges and other inspection equipmentDistinguish between different types of threaded connectionsAssist in controlling tooling inventory and tooling useCNC Machinist & Programmer Qualifications:3–5 years of CNC machining and programming experience.Experience as CNC Programmer using CAM software with an understanding of G-Code and M-CodeExperience with Premium Threads (JFE, VAM, Etc.) a PlusAbility to set-up 3 or 4 jaw lathe(s) with minimal supervision and without causing damage to parts or equipment.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
