We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a keen eye for detail. This role is crucial for producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and effectively.
Duties
Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to understand machining requirements.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
Collaborate with team members to optimize tooling setups and machining processes.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Knowledge and ability to understand "G" and "M" codes required.
Experience with power tools and precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
Proficiency in CNC Programming using Fusion and MasterCam.
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings effectively.
Strong understanding of tooling requirements for various machining operations.
5+ years experience in CNC machining.
A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement within the workplace.
