We are currently seeking CNC Machinist to join our Rhinelander, WI Team!
In this role, you will perform set up and machining of large complex weldments in 3- to 5- Axis on a Heidenhain TNC-7 control system with a high degree of accuracy on various sizes and related dimensions.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Independently setup intricate parts and fixturing
Work from advanced drawings and job layouts
Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality using materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys
Make all parts efficiently within print/contract details using materials
Overhead Crane operation and rigging
Setup tooling using machine setup documentation
Maintain equipment and safe work area
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a strong machining background including tool path verification and collision analysis
Machining knowledge in a manufacturing industry preferred
Completion of Machining program is a plus
Heidenhain TNC-7 controls system experience preferred
Basic M & G Code, blueprint reading and math skills is a plus
Worked with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys a plus
Experience working with large complex weldments (up to 90’) is preferred
Experience setting up quality gauging preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds.
Long periods of standing.
