CNC OperatorResponsible for operating CNC equipment and using proper measuring equipment to verify quality of the product.Competitive salary based on experienceCareer development opportunitiesClimate-controlled work environmentState-of-the-art machinery and equipment401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceRead blueprints and check part dimensions with appropriate measuring instrumentsMake adjustments on tool offsetsUnderstand company procedures for tagging, inspecting and other necessary procedures relevant to the positionFollow lean manufacturing systems in place1-3 years' experience in machining in corresponding departmentPerform in-process inspection on machined partsWork with supervisor and quality department to ensure parts are made to customer specificationsEnsure all tools and gages used are properly calibrated and up to dateObserve all safety practices and procedures, performing preventative maintenanceFollow strict safety procedures in maintaining a neat and orderly workstationMust be able to be flexible and work overtime when necessaryRegularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate effectively (talk/hear)May involve prolonged periods of both sitting and standing depending on task requirementsSpecific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus; prolonged magnified inspection may be required, which can lead to eye strainRequires good hand-eye coordination and dexterity in hands, arms, and fingers, including the ability to grasp and manipulate small componentsFrequent use of computers and other standard office or manufacturing equipmentMay involve handling of oils, solvents, and cleaning solutions—lab coats provided to minimize exposureTypically performed in a clean environment; employees are expected to help maintain cleanliness standardsSafety glasses are required at all times; additional safety training may be required depending on the areaThe work is performed in a manufacturing setting where noise levels are generally loudMay rotate between different workstations or shift tasks during the production process based on operational needs
