CNC Machinist - 2nd ShiftLooking for a CNC career with cutting-edge technology and a great schedule? Join a growing aerospace manufacturer where you'll work with CNC mills, lathes, multi-axis machines, and robotic automation systems to produce high-precision components.2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM4-day work weekShift differentialOvertime available on FridaysOperate and adjust CNC mills, lathes, and machining centersPerform tool changes, offsets, and machine setupsRead blueprints and GD&T specificationsInspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gaugesTroubleshoot CNC equipment and automated cellsWork with robotic machine-tending systemsFollow AS9100 quality and safety standardsCNC machining experienceAbility to read blueprints and use precision measuring toolsExperience holding tight tolerancesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred: Aerospace manufacturing experienceRobotics or automation experienceKnowledge of G-Code/M-Code and AS9100 standardsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchTuition ReimbursementSafety Shoe & Safety Glasses ReimbursementStable, Growing CompanyAdvanced CNC & Robotic TechnologyLong-Term Career GrowthThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.25/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
