CNC MachinistWe are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled machinist who enjoys working in a fast-paced job-shop environment where no two days are the same. You will set up and operate large and medium-sized multi-axis CNC mills and lathes, producing prototype, one-off, and low-volume precision components for industries including aerospace, defense, energy, heavy equipment, naval vessels, and tooling. Our team is collaborative, innovative, and committed to delivering exceptional quality to our customers.Job Type: Direct HirePay: $40 - $45.00 p/h (DOE)Benefits: 401(k) (company match), Health, Dental and Vision insurance, Paid time offOn-Site: Seattle, 98108A typical day as a Machinist involves setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn equipment to produce prototypes, one-off, and low-volume production components to precise specifications. Machinists work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel, while interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. They perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and maintain tight tolerance. Machinists also troubleshoot machining processes, make program or setup adjustments as needed, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and minimize downtime, all while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environmentWe are looking for an experienced Machinist who is comfortable working in a job shop, prototype, R&D, or similar manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have:5+ years of CNC machining experienceStrong setup and operation experience with multi-axis CNC mills and/or lathesAbility to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawingsSolid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Proficiency with precision inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicatorsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a teamA strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementIf you think you have what it takes to do this job, then the next step is to fill out our online application.
