Job description
CNC MachinistPeak Machining Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist at our Skiatook, OK location. The CNC Machinist is responsible for reading and interpreting sketches, prints, and other related technical data to produce quality parts using conventional Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machine equipment.Responsibilities and DutiesAs a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the CNC Machinist. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change as the needs of the organization require.Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines.Review drawings, instructions, or samples ensure accurate production of parts.Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.Select appropriate machine and settings for given task.Plan proper sequence of task to complete the assignment.Monitor production of parts, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.Maintain inventory of completed products.Check output for quality assurance and document defects.Identify and perform required machine maintenance and minor repairs.Maintain a safe and clean workstation.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks.Adhere to Company safety rules, regulations, and quality standards, handbook policies and procedures.Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentPreferred QualificationsMinimum of one year of CNC experienceOkuma Control knowledgeCore CompetenciesStrong work ethic; self-motivatedExcellent coordination and mechanical skillsStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and safetyGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to measure using different toolsGood organizational, problem solving skills, and time management skillsAbility to work independently on assigned tasks and take direction as neededProficient math skillsBasic computer skillsCompany Benefits:401k with Company MatchHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term disabilityPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
