CNC MachinistCompX National is hiring a CNC Machinist for our Third Shift.Be part of our CompX National team and enjoy our excellent benefits:Medical Insurance (FREE employee)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceLOW deductible and LOW out of pocket maxFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)401k Retirement PlansCompany paid Disability and Life InsurancePaid vacations and HolidaysTuition ReimbursementReferral Reward ProgramShift: 3rd Sunday - Thursday 10:30 pm - 7:00 AMPay: $21.43 - $28.25 per hour DOEShift Premium: $2.50 per hourPosition Responsibilities:Set-up and operate CNC Vertical Mills.Operate multiple machines simultaneously.Make machine adjustments as needed.Maintain excellent quality and high efficiency.Utilize precision measuring instruments such as comparators, indicators, calipers, height gauges, and micrometers, to inspect and adhere to close tolerance requirements.Comply with all Company safety regulations.Maintain housekeeping and organization.Follow 5S, lean manufacturing principles, and ISO standards.Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality System (e.g., applicable inspection, verification, and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process).May be required to perform other jobs as needed by the Company.Essential Skills and Experience:High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalentAt least 3-5 years of CNC Milling/Lathing operational experience - highly preferredStrong math background, preferably in machine/shop mathMust be able to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to troubleshoot issuesHigh Attention to detailAble to work in an environment of oil, coolant, and chipsMust be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentPreferred Skills and Experience:Technical degree - emphasis on machining/CNC/Mills/LathesCompX National is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Please note: your application may not be considered if you do not provide your education and work history, either by 1) uploading a resume, or 2) entering the information in the application fields directly.MR26098
