CNC MachinistLegacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Winslow, ME. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for precision manufacturing, innovation, and delivering high-quality products. With a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence, they provide a stable work environment with opportunities for long-term career growth.Pay:$28.00/hour – with a 2-year machining degree or 2+ years of CNC machining experience$24.00/hour starting – with less than 2 years of experience and no machining degree$7,500 Sign-On BonusKey Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining equipment to produce precision components according to specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and offset modifications as needed.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.Maintain tight tolerances while meeting production and quality standards.Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in proper working condition.Accurately document production data, inspections, and completed work orders.Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate equipment or quality concerns to supervisors.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.Collaborate with production and quality teams to achieve daily production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.2-year machining degree or 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred for the higher pay rate.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay based on education and experience.$7,500 Sign-On Bonus.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.Opportunities for advancement and professional development.A stable, team-oriented work environment with cutting-edge manufacturing technology.The opportunity to build a rewarding career with an industry-leading manufacturer.At Legacy Talent Search, we are more than just a staffing agency.
