Job Description Job Description We are seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate vertical machining centers using Fanuc controls. This role supports a small machining team producing prototype components, small-batch parts, and high-volume production work. The position offers opportunities to advance toward CNC programming or a lead machinist role.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate vertical machining centers.
Edit CNC programs using Fanuc controls.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Set up fixtures for machining operations.
Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM equipment, optical measurement systems, and other inspection tools.
Perform quality inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance.
Produce prototype components, small-batch parts, and high-volume production parts.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of CNC machining experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with CNC machining and vertical machining centers.
Experience with Fanuc controls.
Blueprint reading skills.
Experience with precision measurement and quality control.
Strong attention to detail.
