Our client is hiring a CNC Machinist (Wire EDM) in Knoxville, TN. Note : This has to be an experienced CNC Machinist that would require minimum training, basically only needs to learn the products the company our client ! Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with specialized Wire EDM experience to join our our client team. You will set up, operate, and program CNC machines and wire electrical discharge machines to produce high-precision components. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines with experience with Makino being an advantage. Programming: Program or edit G-code and conversational programs at the machine control.
Top requirements:
- 4+ years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Proficiency with EDM Software, Fanuc and Mitsubishi machine controls, Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing prints, trigonometry
