Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.$500 SIGN ON BONUSFor upper-level machinistsSkillset/level determined during interview processHow Will You Make an Impact?As a Machinist at our Grand Junction, CO facility you will set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mills or CNC lathes with live tooling and without.Location: On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facilityLevels AvailableMachinist I - IIIShiftsDays: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMNights: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AMWeekend: Friday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PMWhat Will You Do?Safely perform all tasks.Work from blueprints, engineering drawings, set up instructions, job instruction sheets (JIS), and verbal instructions to fabricate a variety of machined components.Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, bore gages, diameter & groove gages, and height gages.Operate a variety of CNC Mills or Lathes and other hand and power machines.Assemble cutting tools.Maintain 6S requirements in work area.How Will You Get Here?Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBlueprint reading including Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing.Understand G and M codes/Mazatrol.Capable of performing some heavy labor, ability to lift 50-75 lbs.Good communication skills (verbal and written).Good working knowledge of hand measuring and inspection tools.Education & ExperienceHigh School/GED or higher education, preferred.2+ years' experience as a machinist; familiarity with CNC, Lathe and manual machines a plus.Mazak Mill, Integrex, or other multi-axis machining experience, preferred.Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
