CNC & Manual MachinistOur client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision components, is seeking a dedicated CNC & Manual Machinist to join their dynamic team. As a CNC & Manual Machinist, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.Location: Sandston, VAPay Range: $28.00What's the Job?Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and boring mills to produce high-quality components.Configure and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills, including multi-axis equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency.Select appropriate tooling, establish machine offsets, and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal machining processes.Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code, M-code, Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, or similar controls to meet specifications.Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.What's Needed?At least 5 years of machining experience in a precision manufacturing or job-shop environment.Hands-on experience with both CNC and manual machining operations.Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines.Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.Ability to independently plan machine setups and troubleshoot machining issues effectively.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a reputable manufacturing environment focused on quality and precision.Competitive starting pay rate based on experience.Engagement in a full-time role with consistent hours and stability.Chance to develop and refine advanced machining skills.Supportive team environment that values craftsmanship and innovation.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
