CNC Manufacturing Technician (Turning Focus)Ready to make things move? At IMS Gear, we don't just manufacture components—we power motion across the globe.IMS Gear is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Technician with a strong background in turning operations to support our high-volume automotive manufacturing facility in Gainesville, GA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, optimizing machine performance, and working directly with production teams to drive results.What You'll DoTroubleshoot, maintain, and optimize CNC turning equipmentSet up machines for new products and production changesAnalyze downtime, scrap, and machine performance dataSupport process improvements that increase quality, productivity, and OEETrain operators on equipment, processes, and troubleshootingCoordinate tooling, spare parts, and equipment readinessPartner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet customer demandsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume environmentStrong CNC machining experience with a focus on turning operationsMechanical troubleshooting skillsBasic electrical knowledgeAbility to read measurements and use calipers, micrometers, and gaugesExperience improving machine performance and reducing downtimeAutomotive manufacturing experience preferredAssociate degree, technical degree, or equivalent practical experiencePhysical RequirementsLifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.Pushing and pulling up to 250 lbs. using material handling equipmentFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reachingWhy IMS GearCompetitive pay and benefits3 weeks of PTOMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with 4% company matchEmployer-paid life insuranceCompany paid short- and long-term disability coveragePaid vacation and holidaysOngoing training and career development opportunitiesEmployee recognition and appreciation programsThis job description is not intended to be a complete list of duties or responsibilities.
