Job description

CNC Mill MachinistAre you an experienced CNC Mill Machinist who takes pride in precision, quality, and continuous improvement? Do you enjoy solving problems, working with modern machining technology, and producing high-quality components? We're looking for a CNC Mill Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components that meet exact engineering specifications. If you're adaptable, dependable, and motivated to grow your career, we'd love to meet you.Requirements:What You'll DoSet up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision-machined components.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications.Verify machine setups and adjust tooling and offsets to ensure quality production.Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and accuracy.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards.Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance activities.Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime.Collaborate with teammates to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.What You'll AccomplishProduce high-quality precision components that meet customer specifications.Help maximize machine efficiency and production quality.Become an expert on our manufacturing processes through hands-on training.Contribute ideas that improve safety, quality, and productivity.Play a key role in delivering exceptional products to our customers.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum 5 years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.Experience setting up CNC milling machines for production.Proficient using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted schedules when business needs require.Preferred experience with any of the following is a plus:CNC mill setupCNC programming edits (G-code knowledge)Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)Tool offsets and fixture setupPrecision machiningQuality inspectionPreventative machine maintenanceLean Manufacturing or Continuous ImprovementManufacturing ERP systemsThe Type of Person Who Succeeds Here we're looking for someone who:Enjoys learning new technology and manufacturing processes.Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do.Adapts well to changing priorities and production needs.Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in producing quality work.Enjoys solving problems and improving processes.Works well with others while taking ownership of their work.Wants to continue developing their machining skills and career.Why Join Our Team?Work with modern CNC machining equipment.Stable, growing manufacturing environment.Cross-training and opportunities to expand your technical skills.Supportive team that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement.Opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that invests in its employees.
