CNC Mill & Lathe MachinistDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring CNC Mill & Lathe Machinists for a leading manufacturing company located in Glenwood, MN. Read below for more information!Set up and operate CNC or manual machines to produce parts to specificationsMaintain production rates to meet hourly output targetsInspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standardsComplete production and quality documentation such as SPC recordsReplace tools and drills and adjust tool offsets as neededCount and track parts produced for accurate job reportingPerform basic CNC programming, setup, and machine maintenance tasksMaintain a clean and organized work area within the machine shopHigh school or technical school training in machining preferredExperience in CNC machining or machine shop environments preferredAbility to read and interpret part drawings and technical specificationsAbility to use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyAbility to maintain accountability for quality and production outputAbility to work collaboratively with team members and handle workplace demandsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods in a machine shop environmentEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
