About the Role:
Phoenix Manufacturing Inc is looking for a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our growing team in Oakdale, CA. Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines to produce precision parts and components
* Interpret blueprints, technical drawings to execute machining operations
* Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance
* Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
* Troubleshoot machining issues and make offsets or program edits as needed
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with shop safety standards
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet tight tolerances and delivery deadlines
Requirements:
* 2+ years of hands-on CNC milling experience in a production or job shop environment
* Proficiency with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and GD&T specifications
* Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection processes
* Basic understanding of G-code programming and CAM software is a plus
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
