CNC Mill-Turn Machinist/ProgrammerTorch Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Mill-Turn Machinist/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys challenging prototype and low-volume work rather than repetitive production.This position works with engineering drawings and CAD models to program, set up, prove out, and machine complex precision parts using modern CNC equipment.As a CNC Mill-Turn Machinist/Programmer, your duties will include the following but are not limited to:Program, set up, and operate DMG Mori Mill-Turn machining centersProgram with MastercamDevelop machining strategies, tooling, workholding, feeds, and speedsMachine complex prototype and low-volume partsTroubleshoot programs, setups, tooling, and machining processesWork independently from drawing/model through finished partRequirementsU.S. CitizenshipAssociate Degree, or 2 years of formal technical training or equivalent experience.5+ years CAM programming experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.Ability to read drawings, GD&T, and CAD modelsAbility to independently program, set up, and prove out CNC equipmentMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearanceDMG Mori Mill-Turn experience strongly preferredHaas and Mazak experience is a plusAS9100 experience preferredPreferred QualificationsWorkplace safety is a priority at Torch. Candidates must receive and present an OSHA 10-Hour Training Course for General Industry certification (either a card from the Department of Labor or certificate of completion from an authorized trainer) within the first 90 days of employment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed training prior to employment.
