CNC Milling Machine OperatorPosition at Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. CNC Milling Machine Operator $2,000 HIRING BONUS Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, milling, etc.Recognizing tooling and procedures where tolerances are followedFollow detailed instructions, work from standard coding and operational data to change or mount tools and position work piecesCheck work at specific points; adjust machine and fixture stops to maintain finish and tolerance requirementsWork from part drawings and use required precision measuring instruments to check and inspect workRecognize and report machine malfunctions, tooling difficulties, etc.Assist with setupsJob RequirementsHigh school diploma or its equivalentKnowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, operationsBasic math, logical reasoning, and problem solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds0-2 years of experienceExceptional BenefitsOutstanding Medical Insurance with $0 deductible optionDental, and Vision InsurancePaid Vacation, Personal Time and Holidays401(k) Employer Match, $ for $ up to 4%Company Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany Paid Basic Life InsurancePlus More!Work Environment: Well-lit, clean and temperature-controlled machine shop with moderate noise.
