CNC Milling Machinist/ProgrammerLocation: Wixom, Michigan Pay: $30–$35/hour, based on experience and level of independence Employment Type: Full-TimeOur client is a full-service machine shop specializing in CNC milling, turning, and grinding. They are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Machinist/Programmer who can confidently set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines with minimal supervision.ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and program HAAS CNC milling machinesProgram and edit CNC programs using MastercamPerform basic conversational programming and program edits at the machineSet up and machine prototype, specialty, and small production-run partsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsSelect appropriate tooling and cutting parametersPerform in-process inspections and verify finished parts meet specificationsTroubleshoot machining and tooling issuesMaintain accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout machining operationsMaintain a clean and organized work area
