Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision industrial components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and a strong focus on quality, safety, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
Load and secure raw materials or workpieces and make necessary machine adjustments.
Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and product quality.
Identify machining issues and make basic adjustments to improve performance.
Perform routine machine maintenance and follow workplace safety procedures.
Maintain accurate production records and collaborate with engineers and shop supervisors to meet production deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines.
Knowledge of milling and precision machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using precision measurement tools, including calipers and micrometers.
Understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining operations.
Knowledge of quality control procedures and dimensional inspection.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and follow safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience with CNC program adjustments or basic CNC programming.
Familiarity with tooling selection, machine setup, and precision component manufacturing.
Work Environment
Full-time, on-site position in Wauconda, Illinois.
