CNC OD Grinder Operator (1st & 2nd Shift) | Latrobe, PALocation: Latrobe, PA Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Available Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $18/hr+Experienced CNC Grinder Wanted!Are you an experienced CNC Grinder Operator or CNC Machinist looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with a growing manufacturing company?We are seeking skilled OD CNC Grinder Operators who can set up, program, and operate CNC grinding machines while producing high-precision parts that meet customer blueprint specifications. If you enjoy precision machining, working with tight tolerances, and being part of a quality-driven team, we'd like to hear from you.What You'll Do:As a CNC OD Grinder Operator, you will:Set up, program, and operate CNC OD grinding machinesRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsCreate and edit CNC programs using G-Code, Mastercam, or manufacturer-specific programmingSelect the proper grinding wheels, tooling, and fixtures for each jobInspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment including: Micrometers, Calipers, Comparators, CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines), Other precision inspection equipmentVerify product quality and maintain tight tolerancesComplete production documentation including SPC charts, route sheets, inspection records, and quality documentationPerform machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenanceMonitor production flow and help maximize efficiency within the departmentAssist with troubleshooting machining processes and improving productivityMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentSupport continuous improvement initiatives and world-class manufacturing practicesMentor and assist operators and trainees as neededWhat We're Looking For:Qualified candidates should have:Previous CNC grinding or CNC machining experienceExperience setting up and operating CNC grinding equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsKnowledge of precision machining practices and grinding operationsExperience using precision measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality partsGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills*Experience with carbide or ceramic machining is a plus.Education & Experience:High school diploma or GED preferredEquivalent manufacturing experience will be consideredOngoing technical and safety training providedPhysical Requirements:Lift up to 50 poundsStand for extended periodsBend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movementsWork in a climate-controlled manufacturing environmentSafely operate production equipment while maintaining attention to detailWhy Join Our Team?Full-time, stable manufacturing career1st and 2nd shift opportunitiesModern CNC equipmentClimate-controlled facilityOngoing technical training and career developmentOpportunity to expand your machining and programming skillsTeam-focused environment committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvementApply today to become part of a precision manufacturing team where your CNC grinding skills will make an impact every day.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
