CNC OperatorDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring CNC Operators for a custom manufacturing company in Northwood, IA. In this role, you’ll support daily production by operating CNC equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe workspace. If you enjoy hands-on work and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this could be an excellent fit!What You'll Do as a CNC Operator:Read and interpret manufacturing job ordersSet up CNC machines and equipment per job specificationsOrder and stage materials as neededPerform quality and value-added checks throughout productionAccurately track time, parts, scrap, and labor in the manufacturing softwareAssist with general equipment maintenanceSort, stack, count, and package finished partsFollow all safety policies, including Lockout/TagoutTrain new operators on equipmentWhat You Need to Bring to the CNC Operator Role:High school diploma or GED6+ months of relevant experience or training (manufacturing preferred)Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and proceduresBasic math skills including fractions and decimalsAbility to solve practical problems with limited standardizationAbility to lift/move 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally (with or without reasonable accommodations)Ability to follow written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructionsWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
