In this role, you will operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components and ensure all products meet strict drawing specifications. Stop by Dixon Quick Coupling and fill one out today!What You'll Do:Set up and operate multiple CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce high-quality precision metal components.Read and interpret technical blueprints to ensure accurate machining and production.Inspect finished products and components to drawing specifications utilizing measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Monitor machine operations, recognize machining issues, and make necessary adjustments to resolve discrepancies.Perform routine daily maintenance activities on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.Maintain flexibility to handle rotating assignments based on production needs.Actively participate in training to expand your knowledge of Dixon products and manufacturing processes.Champion workplace safety by adhering to all protocols around heavy equipment and co-workers.What We're Looking For:2+ years of CNC Operator (Mill or Lathe) experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is highly preferred.High School diploma or equivalent required.Strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in utilizing precision measuring tools, and a solid understanding of shop mathematicsA reliable self-starter with a great attitude, excellent attendance, and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to tasks.
