CNC OperatorExpress Employment Professionals is assisting a local Chaska company in their search to fill a CNC Operator. As a CNC Operator, you will operate a computer numerical controlled lathe and/or mill with minimal supervision. The position runs production lots, keeps records, communicates with co-workers and managers regarding production runs, and maintaining standards.What's an average day like as a CNC Operator:Setup, load parts and cycle computer numerical control equipment per daily schedulePerform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results)Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.Read, understand, and interpret work instructions/setup documents and standard operating proceduresComplete and maintain paperwork for parts.Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career developmentMaintain a clean, organized work areaComply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresWhat do we look for in a CNC Operator:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to perform basic mathematical computations including the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportionsFollow written and verbal instructionsOne year related experience, training and/or technical educationProficiency with CNC controlsExperience operating CNC lathes and/or millsForklift experience and/or active forklift certificationSchedule:1st shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday2nd shift 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday through FridayExpress Employment Professionals provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers:Holiday and Vacation PayMedical Benefits401KDirect DepositWeekly PayWho is Express Employment Professionals?Express Employment Professionals is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
