Machinist III PositionWe are a small team-oriented manufacturing company in Kent who work in a fast-pace environment. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined & has an eye for detail. Someone who is dependable, has strong work ethic, can be on their feet all day, & a team player.Essential Functions:Deburr parts as required.Provide backup and support of all machine shop functions.Read, Comprehend and Follow Instructions/Work OrdersMachinist III Requirements:Set up program and operate CNC machines and tooling in accordance with drawing or program.Attention to DetailsAble to Lift up to 50lbsMust be a U.S. Citizen (strict NOFORN policy enforced by our Customers)Maintain a Positive AttitudeAble to Work Full TimeOrganized/ Able to Manage Time EfficientlyMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMachining Operator Requirements:One-year work related experience using metal working machinery in a manufacturing environmentThe Below Training Will Be Provided:On-The-Job-Training as it applies to this positionWorking Conditions Typically Required:Exposure to chemicals: Machine Coolants, solvents, oils and Anti-Seize CompoundsWork with machinery with moving partsOccasionally Incurred:Work in heat between 90° – 100°Exposure to grease/oilsOccasionally Incurred Personal Protective Equipment:Safety Glasses, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Problem-Solving Skills Verbal Communications SkillsUse verbal skills to communicate with co-workersContacts Typically Include:Coworkers within the same departmentCoworkers in other departmentsMid-management level employeesMath SkillsAddition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratiosTrigonometry, algebra, validity, etc.Benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Vacation, Paid HolidaysQualifications: Machining, Math, CNC, CNC Programming
