Wagstaff prides itself in manufacturing 100% of its products at its two facilities in Spokane, Washington, and Hebron, Kentucky.Salary Range: $23.40 - $31.66 per hourExcellent Benefits PackageJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other production equipment to manufacture precision parts that meet quality and tolerance specifications. The ideal candidate has machining experience, can interpret mechanical drawings, perform machine setup and basic CNC offset adjustments, and use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, continuous improvement, and following established manufacturing processes while maintaining accurate documentation and a clean, organized work area. Flexibility to cross-train on additional equipment and work overtime as needed is essential.RequirementsSetup and operate CNC machines - mills and lathesUtilize required fixtures, cutting tools and work instructions to machine parts to specificationPerform simple editing offsets (CNC only)Identify product/process improvements and participate with co-workers to implement these improvementsOperate machines using best and safe practicesMust produce parts within required tolerancesFunction as a team member and support other teamsWillingness to cross train on other machines as requiredFollow documented processesMaintain a high degree of qualityMaintain accurate paperworkHousekeeping/maintenance of work area and machineryRequired SkillsHigh School diploma or GEDMinimum of two (2) years CNC machining experience requiredAccredited trade or vocational school machining certificateExperience setting up and operating mills, lathes, and other machine shop equipmentAbility to machine parts to precise specifications and required tolerancesAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and work instructionsBasic CNC editing and offset adjustment experience (CNC machines)Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, radius gauges, and machinist protractorsKnowledge of machine tooling, fixtures, and safe machine operationStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to follow documented procedures and maintain accurate production recordsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentCommitment to workplace safety and housekeeping standardsAbility to work overtime as business needs requireEquivalent Experience/EducationAn accredited machining trade or vocational certificate may substitute for one (1) year of CNC machining required experience.Preferred SkillsExperience operating multiple types of CNC machinesExperience with preventive machine maintenance and basic troubleshootingExperience identifying and implementing process improvementsAbility to cross-train and operate a variety of production equipmentStrong organizational and time management skillsExperience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentDesired SkillsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilitiesPositive attitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionFlexibility and adaptability in a changing production environmentStrong work ethic and reliabilityCommitment to continuous learning and professional developmentAbility to prioritize tasks while maintaining quality and productivityCustomer-focused mindset with an understanding of the importance of producing quality parts on timeEmployment at Wagstaff is dependent on successfully passing a company-paid drug screening and background check upon hire.Wagstaff, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
