Job description

CNC Operator BBranch Medical Group, a subsidiary of Globus Medical Inc., manufactures a wide range of implants for spinal and orthopedic applications as well as design the instrumentation cases that house them. We are constantly in pursuit of better patient care and understand that speed is critical because life cannot wait.Position SummaryThe CNC Operator B operates assigned machines CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawing. This effort includes, but is not limited to, conducting basic machine changeovers, accurately completing quality control documentation and inspection sheet. This individual works with other machine operators and management to ensure good manufacturing practices, inspection techniques, SOPs, and safety regulations every day.Essential FunctionsMeasures, inspects, loads/unloads parts from CNC machineImplements dimensional adjustments (offsets) as needed and as instructedAccurately completes all quality control documentation and inspection sheetsInspects product in accordance to all verbal and/or written instructions such as part drawings, traveler, work instructions, and process specificationsEmbraces good manufacturing practices and inspection techniques each day; following all SOPs and safety regulationsAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policiesEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third partiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitudeAble to perform visual inspection with the use of a microscope on small parts; strong attention to detailIntermediate math skills in geometric and trigonometric formulas a plusSelf-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision; well organized and possesses the ability to multi-taskTeam player, open to new ideas and team work, self-motivated individual, willingness to continually strive to increase personal knowledge and valueExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailAdvanced critical thinking and problems-solving skillsPhysical DemandsRequired to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Required to possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.Our ValuesPassionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
